Wealth Management Through Life Stages
Wealth Accumulation - in the early stages of your career, we will discuss cash flow budgeting, emergency funding, review goals and large planned expenses. We will implement asset allocation and asset location strategies, including Roth IRAs vs. Traditional IRAs and options for your previous employer's 401(k) account. Received a large windfall of money? Let's talk about the best way to invest it.
Wealth Preservation - mid-to-late career professionals should start thinking more seriously about prospects for retirement. Discussions will center around risk management, tax planning strategies, potential Roth conversions, college planning and review of estate plans. Our goal will be to increase your net-worth over time and find ways to minimize your taxes now and through retirement.
Wealth Distribution - a distribution strategy is key at this stage in order to manage spending and taxes. A coordinated effort with other professionals such as CPAs, tax and estate attorneys will help alleviate the complexities of an evolving financial plan. At this stage, we will review your income sources and discuss social security, Medicare, and long-term care insurance.
Wealth Transfer - you did well. You worked hard and lived within your means. Now it's time to enjoy what you care about the most - spending time with family, traveling or taking up new hobbies. At this stage you may want to review your estate plans and consider gifting strategies, college planning for your grandchildren or charitable donations.
